Accommodations

The cottages at Walker Lake Resort are now available for weekly rentals only in the summer arriving on Friday or Saturday depending on the cottage. The cottages are situated on the peaceful and serene Walker Lake just minutes away from the Town of Huntsville. Walker Lake is great for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, quiet meditation, and spending quality time with your loved one, family, and friends. When you book your cottage vacation with us you will get access to our private beach with water a trampoline, kayaks, canoes,  and dock.  Walker Lake is the perfect location for a pleasant and relaxing getaway. The beautiful natural landscape offers a sense of tranquility and serenity unique to Ontario’s Cottage County.

Each of our cottages have been newly renovated each with their own sense of charm and character. Each cottage is equipped with cutlery, pots, pans, and essential cooking utensils during your stay.  Linens and towels are also provided with each cottage, with the exception of beach towels. Please note that we are a pet-free resort.

BOOKINGS

Summer Season is available for weekly stays only.
Cottages Cedar, Birch and Pine are booked Friday to Friday.
Cottages Oak, Acorn, Spruce and Maple are booked Saturday t0 Saturday.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS

Payment Terms:
10% deposit for any booking before February 28, topped up to 50% on March 1st.
50% deposit at time of booking for bookings after March 1st.
Balance of 50% 7 days in advance of check-in.

Cancellation Fees:
Prior to March 1st, deposits are 100% refundable.

Cancellation Fees for Prime Season – July and August:
25% of reservation amount non-refundable, for cancellations after March 1 up until 60 days before checkin.
50% of full reservation amount non-refundable for cancellations between 60 days & 7 days of checkin.
No refunds for cancellations within 7 days.

Cancellation Fees for Shoulder Season May, June, Sept & October:
10% of reservation amount non-refundable, for cancellations after March 1 up until 60 days before checkin.
25% of reservation amount non-refundable for cancellations between 60 days & 7 days of checkin.
50% of reservation amount for cancellations within 7 days.
